Factory Operations Supervisor

A Machesney Park, IL business is in search of a Factory Operations Supervisor for a 1st shift role.

Responsibilities:

• Distribute resources (equipment, personnel, materials and systems) to reach desired targets.
• Generate a daily job assignment agenda for the department.
• Convey to production staff regarding performance needs, performance objectives, and safety regulations.
• In charge of teaching new personnel on all areas of the shop floor, processes, and machines.

Qualifications:

• Must have substantial knowledge of manufacturing, production shops, process improvement, and machines and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Prior CNC machine shop knowledge preferred.
• Must have prior management experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary, 6 day work week is typical.
• Must have good knowledge of safety regulations, quality inspection processes and systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
