A Health Financial Service is looking to hire a Pharmacy Clerk Associate!
Contract: 3 Months- Contract to Hire
Location: Franklin, TN
Pay: $20/ hourly
Hours: M-F 7:30 am- 4 pm CST
Position Overview:
As a Pharmacy Clerk Associate, you will play a vital role in the fulfillment of prescription orders. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for processing, packing, and shipping outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring that all medications, related supplies, and patient education materials are included. Additionally, you may perform supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, ensuring the proper storage of supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately process prescription orders, ensuring all items are correctly picked, packed, and shipped.
- Packaging and Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring all required items are included and securely packed.
- Inventory Management: Perform supply ordering and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels, including proper storage of supplies.
- Patient Collateral Management: Ensure patient education materials are included in orders as required.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines related to pharmacy operations.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or warehouse setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and potentially with patients.
