Boutique Elder Law, Estate and Special Needs Planning Law Firm has an immediate opening for a motivated, dedicated assistant bookkeeper to join our team. Experience with QuickBooks and Leap Legal software a plus. You must also have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), excellent written and verbal skills, be organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Under the general supervision of the Controller, the Bookkeeper’s duties and responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:
· Enter Accounts Payable and Receivable
· Scan image documents and maintain electronic filing system
· Heavy data entry
· Generate monthly client bills and collection reports using Leap Software for attorney review and distribution to clients
· Filing of invoices and expense reports
· Trust Fiduciary Accounting Services and Bank Reconciliation
· Provide general administrative support to the Controller, as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
· Excellent typing and spelling
· Detail Oriented
· Strong computer skills
· Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent proofreading skills
· Knowledge of standard office Methods and Equipment
· Must maintain strict confidentiality
· Must be able to manage time and tasks effectively
· Solid Interpersonal Skills
