DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping 

REPORTS TO: Director of Housekeeping    

SUMMARY:

Responsible for cleaning and inspecting guest rooms, lodge rooms and cabins. Along with supervising Room Attendants to make sure they are working efficiently and effectively. Perform outstanding guest service & maintain interdepartmental lines of communication and interact daily with guests and resort staff.  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Previous hotel / resort supervisory role beneficial.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Strip bed linens, make beds, vacuum, dust, scrub sinks, tubs, toilets, sweep and mop floors. 
• Clean fixtures; wash windows & mirrors. 
• Ensures good safety practices. 
• Assign teams rooms to clean in the field. 
• Supervise Room Attendants/Housekeepers to make sure they are working efficiently and effectively.  
• Responsible for following lost and found procedures.  
• Inspect rooms and correct any mistakes. 
• Follow and adhere to company driving policy and lead by example. 
• Train new Room Attendants/Housekeepers/Public Areas. 
• Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments. 
• Any and all other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check. 
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to be insured under Ruttger’s policy to drive company vehicles. 
• Valid Driver’s License.  
• Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; climb up and down stairs; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing fifty (50) pounds or more.
