- Receive expedited packages as soon as signed for, sign out to work order and give to service writer / foreman.
- Inspect all deliveries, annotate any damage, shortage or discrepancies, accept or reject packages per manufacture/vendor policies.
- Notify manager and service when package/crate is damaged/rejected.
- Receive all orders within 24 hours, tag and bin properly in the system, put part in the correct bin.
- Keep manager updated on issues keeping shipping & receiving from completing tasks.
Qualifications
- Must meet company's requirements for employment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
- Ability to use parts department computer system and calculator
- Excellent oral and in written communication skills
- Ability to operate an automobile and have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to withstand prolonged periods of computer usage and/or data entry
- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors, including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold, and rain
- Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
