Overview
The Landscape Designer is a non-licensed designer that assists project leadership in all aspects of project design, development, and documentation through all phases of a project.
Responsibilities
Attends office staff and scheduling meetings
Prepares project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials
Assists with and attends project meetings and client presentations
Responds to Project Manager and Client requests
Prepares and coordinates CAD and other project documents
Prepares presentation materials and participates in project presentations
Prepares takeoffs and assists with cost estimation
Assists with preparation of project specifications
Assists with Construction Administration activities and makes site visits
Assists in project submittal review
Manages project files
Prepares and organizes project materials
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture
1-4 years of professional design experience in private practice design firm
Well-developed skills with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft Office suite software. REVIT skills are a plus
Advanced digital and hand rendering skills
Contract document layout and production knowledge
