Project Manager/Estimator

Our client who is a commercial paint company in Sanford, FL is currently looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join their well established business.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple small / large / complex commercial painting projects from start to finish
• Demonstrate proficiency in project management and budgeting
• Break down accurate labor and material job budgets
• Experience with contract and vendor management Upstream – Execution, Implementation and Risk Management
• Develop and manage contracts and PO’s downstream to subcontractors and vendors
• Oversee and assist with submittal process, and ensure timely submittal deliveries
• Provide information for timely purchasing and deliveries of specialty products and wallcovering materials.
• Provide pricing for change orders and time & material work orders.
• Provide job billing to the client in timely manner.
• Closely cooperate with crew leaders and supervisors who are running projects in the field QA/QC
• Billings and Collections

Estimating:

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and other documents is a must.
• Ability to cost estimate complex projects from blue prints and based on field survey.
• Demonstrated proficiency in accurate take offs, budgeting and pricing calculations.
• Conduct field surveys with clients.
• Produce comprehensive, detailed and job specific proposals in timely manner.
• Strong negotiation contracts with clients to protect company and reach profitable agreements.
• Technically savvy and able to learn new programs on computer.

Required Skills and Experience

• ​​​At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager/Estimator in a Pre-Construction/Commercial Paint Company

• Sage 100 Contracting

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
