The Shipper/Receiver is charged with maintaining shipping and receiving documents and shipping and receiving parts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stock customer orders.
- Assists Parts Manager in processing weekly stock orders.
- Update electronic parts files.
- Ensure credits are received for returned parts.
- Assist in delivery routing.
- Maintain shipping and receiving documents.
- Assist in the preparation and performance of annual parts inventory.
- Assist in annual parts returns.
- Assist with parts department telephone coverage.
- Assist counter employees with payment processing.

Knowledge Requirements
- 2 years of practical experience in a Parts Warehouse environment.
- The physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Normal accessibility of all work sites required for the position
- Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, cramped spaces, loud noises, chemicals and fumes, dust, heights or work safety hazards
- Normal amount of overtime or extended work hours required
- Normal coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot
- Normal endurance
