Stationary Engineer-FT (days)

DESCRIPTION:

Operates and maintains hospital boiler, chiller pant, generator and all associated equipment, including but not limited to, hot water heaters, fans, pumps, cooling towers, chillers, compressors, oxygen and nitrous oxide tanks.

Perform hands on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant equipment, including pipe fitting.

Perform preventive maintenance of plant equipment in a timely manner.

Performs all work in accordance with accepted boiler room practices and existing codes.

Perform periodic generator test as required.

Perform other duties as require and as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum three (3) years of hands on experience, preferably in a healthcare organization

NJ State boiler or Engineer license required,

  • 3rd Class Stationary
  • 3rd Class Refrigeration
  • Or Equivalent.

$27.00 to $30.00 Hourly Rate
