Software Engineer (Python)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a talented Python Developer with experience in video technologies to join our team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications, with a focus on integrating video-related functionalities. Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, modules, and scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate video-related functionalities into applications.
• Design and implement video processing, streaming, and encoding solutions using Python libraries and frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to video playback, encoding, and streaming.
• Optimize video-related algorithms and processes for performance and scalability.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Python programming and video technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong understanding of Python programming concepts and best practices.
• Hands-on experience working with video technologies, including video encoding, streaming, and playback.
• Familiarity with Python libraries and frameworks commonly used in video processing, such as OpenCV, FFmpeg, and GStreamer.
• Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
