We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Analyst in the Budget & Analysis/Corporate Portfolio Management Department. This role is vital for the smooth operation and accuracy of our project financial management. The chosen candidate will play a key role in managing and updating our project databases within SAP, ensuring that all financial aspects of our corporate projects are tracked and reported accurately.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in crafting and refining financial reports that assist the Executive Team in assessing the financial health and performance of the company.
- Conduct monthly reports on project portfolio status, detailing approved funding, expenditure, and forecasts for over 150 active projects.
- Facilitate project lifecycle management, including the creation, completion, and financial adjustment of projects, for a wide portfolio with an annual budget ranging from $40 million to $75 million.
- Update and maintain procedural and control documentation for project systems and pricing models.
- Participate in the preparation of comprehensive financial analyses and presentations for a variety of stakeholders, including management, the Finance Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.
- Supply project financial information for the development of budget presentations and project materials for executive and committee review sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Alternatively, 0-3 years of equivalent working experience in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce work of the highest quality.
- Experience with or understanding of SAP, particularly the IM and PS modules.
- Familiarity with MS-Excel pivot tables.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting.
