Job Description
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a part-time Maintenance Associate to join our team in Minneapolis! This is a roving position that will perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, be responsible for housekeeping duties on exteriors ground and interior building areas, and provide a safe, productive, comfortable, and clean working environment for building occupants and guests.

Some things you can expect to do:
- Remove debris from property grounds, public areas, and parking lots
- Water plants, weed planters, and plant flowers
- Maintain cleanliness of mechanical rooms, utility rooms, and vacant areas
- Monitor and report slip and trip hazards
- During winter months: perform heat checks in vacancies and mechanical rooms, salt sidewalks, shovel snow
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants. You have a high school degree or equivalent and 2 years of successful maintenance experience in a commercial environment would be preferred. You have a clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications, and ability to lift 50 lbs. You must also be able to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
You will really stand out if you have:
- Previous janitorial experience
- Basic computer skills
- General knowledge on landscaping, lawn, and flower maintenance
