Ryan Lawn and Tree is looking for an individual to manage our landscape construction department! The Landscape Construction Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the quality, production, growth, and personnel development of their team and the clients they serve. This position will plan, manage, assist in production of and maintain RYAN's field operations for the Springfield landscape/construction department.

- Starting pay $55,000 based on experience!
- Potential pay $70,000 based on performance!
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the Landscape Department including:
- Providing clear job responsibilities/requirements to each individual employee
- Setting strategic long and short- term department goals and evaluating outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance
- Provide clear communication to all department and RYAN employees
- Manage and have a clear understanding of department and RYAN financials
- Construct monthly, quarterly and annual budget plans
- Ensure high levels of productivity are maintained
- Represent company professionally at all times
- Responsible for ordering and tracking inventory within the Landscape Department
- Work closely with Department Leaders across the company
- Effectively plan, manage, and complete landscape projects on time
- Increasing knowledge and understanding of industry and business practices through outside networking and research
- Recruit, interview and orient new associates
- Foster a productive work environment
Preferred Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform this job.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a Green Industry related field, or Business field
- 3 years of related experience in management and operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Detail oriented
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
- Must be self-motivated, ambitious, have high energy, be hardworking, and have a positive attitude
- Current State driver's licenses with no violations
- Able to obtain a Drivers Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT Required)
