Role and Responsibilities
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for assisting with scheduling, payroll and basic HR administration needs of the unit.
Basic office responsibilities
· Schedule new hire and NPO orientations, work with management and Regional Human Resources Manager concerning leaves of absence or any personnel issues.
· Perform administrative and coordination tasks in areas such as record keeping, employee records, employee transactions, documentation and reports as needed.
· Schedule staff according to business and event needs. Confirming schedules and event times in the scheduling system, approve and manage daily missing punches, invoice NPO units in Paycom.
· Maintain records of schedules for all department heads. Produce a daily assignment schedule
· Enter all schedules from all departments into the time clock system by position. Ensure a smooth check-in process for all events and enforce policies such as dress code and venue specific direction.
· Act as Department Manager and/or Manager on Duty for events, onsite and offsite, including banquets, 511 Events, SCI Caterings, concessions, and other activities as deemed necessary by department and facility manager
· Oversee and coordinate food and beverage staff and operations, including temporary labor workforce, for daily and/or event operations
· Interview, hire and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; review and evaluate performance; address complaints and resolve problems
· Follow federal, state and local regulations in relation to safety, hygiene, sanitation, alcohol, payroll, and employment.
· Ensure the cash handling and inventory levels processes are effective at all times.
· Schedule all staff for game day events or offsite caterings/bar services.
· Submit payroll for all employees every week.
· Help in the concessions or kitchen as needed during events.
· Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to participate in a team environment.
- Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate same with others.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
· Must be able to frequently lift and carry food and other items.
· Must be able to go from warm to cold climates (workstation to coolers).
· Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
