SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the centralized operations accounting functions. Throughout the month including during month end close, the manager will review and approve journal entries and ad hoc bank transactions within Workday. After month end close, the manager will review and approve account reconciliations in BlackLine.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interact with various groups in the Company, including Field personnel, to ensure transactions are recorded properly
- Identify and solve accounting and business issues as they arise
- Approve ad hoc bank transactions submitted both by direct reports and others
- Approve journal entries
- Approve balance sheet reconciliations
- Coach staff
- Support mgmt. with ad hoc tasks that arise
- Ensure accounting controls are maintained and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures through regular performance reviews, identifications of control gaps and leading any necessary remediation efforts
- Participate in special projects as needed
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned
SKILLS
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and oral), organizational and research skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to interact with senior management
- Excellent understanding of the flow of operational accounting transactions (sub-ledger activity)
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Master's degree accounting/finance preferred
KNOWLEDGE
Technical knowledge of GAAP; advanced level.
LICENSES
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Upon Hire, required).
TRAVEL

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $79k to $100k.
Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
