Summary

The Contract Administrator position will provide support, counsel and advice to the Legal Department including drafting and negotiating customer contracts, advising operations group on all types of substantive commercial matters, managing commercial disputes and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Primary responsibility will be preparing, reviewing and negotiating various commercial and transactional agreements as well as working collaboratively with internal clients in North America on a variety of legal matters.

  • Expected to provide support to and collaborate with the following teams within the organization: Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Real Estate and IT.

  • Responsible for identifying risks and proposing alternative structures to mitigate risks involved in transactions and contracts.

  • Position may involve some management of commercial disputes including interaction with outside counsel.

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Four (4) years or more legal experience required

  • Four (4) years or more corporate and commercial experience required

  • Four (4) years or more experience with commercial contracts, drafting contacts and letters, litigations and other dispute resolution matters as well as regulatory and compliance issues required

  • Two (2) years or more in-house experience supporting company operations preferred

  • Preference for experience Logistics industry, Supply Chain Management, or other related field/experience.

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $80K to $100K
