The Safety Manager position is responsible for managing safety, health and security processes and providing leadership for all matters related to employee safety and health.

Essential Functions
- Develops compliance programs and employee safety management systems for previously undefined programs/initiatives
- Conducts hazard analysis, site evaluations and develops solutions for issues and problems related to employee safety and regulatory compliance
- Provides technical and managerial guidance through ongoing evaluations and investigations
- Serves as primary interface with regulatory agencies on inspections, issues and employee complaints
- Liaise with Environmental Services, coordinate and integrate overlapping processes
- Regional liaison, benchmarking on regional level
- Performs program/product development. Manager development and implementation
- Performs training courses and facilitates industrial hygiene assessments

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required BA/BS Safety Science or Management
- Master's degree preferred Safety Science or Management
- Five - Seven (5-7) years or more 5-7 years of experience developing and managing employee safety & health programs required
- Five- Seven (5-7) years or more Proven track record as a BU Safety Manager required
- Other Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
Travel

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $85 to $105K. Employees may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, as applicable
