What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scheduler position at Ryerson?
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Production Scheduler position. As a Production Scheduler you are responsible the management for 4 work centers. This position will work with our Operations manager and our Commercial team to ensure we provide excellent customer service by meeting our on-time delivery goals and promise dates.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Schedules the CTL, BSC, MVP and SHR work centers, including combined orders and gross and include orders.
Work with Ops Mgr on order line-up
Break schedule Email communication
Communication to commercial when as needed
Prints pull order for the warehouse
Resolve any issues on order confirmations
Schedule order from ZIPO’s (Interplant) loads
Inventory/Order Maintenance for damaged refused items
Daily review of production orders to ensure they are completed and balanced
Enters Inventory Adjustments for found/lost material
Quickbooks – Temp Time Entries (Ipad Kisok)
Position Requirements:
- HS Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in a scheduling type position preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Demonstrated success with MRP systems preferred
- Knowledge metals processing or manufacturing preferred
- Organizational skills and ability to multiple tasks
- Customer focused and problem solver
Salary : $45,900 - $58,100
