Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports for Ryland Oil
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Process tax and inventory reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial guidance and support decision-making processes
- Utilize accounting software to record transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports
- Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,123.29 - $60,363.53 per year
