Description
Ryobi is looking for an enthusiastic Summer HR Intern to work with our recruiting team. The ideal candidate is a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student seeking an HR or related degree. Our program pays $21.00 per hour. The internship will last approximately eleven weeks starting on 6/11/2024.
What Will You Do?
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc...
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Provide analytical and well documented reports to the rest of the team
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
What Will You Need?
Studying toward a degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Experience working in an office environment.
Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
