Material Handler
Job Posting for Material Handler at S&D Coffee
The Material Handler is responsible for the green processing and organization of roasted coffee in the Westrock Collins plant. This position will report to the Supervisor of Roasting and Grinding.
Principal Job Duties:
* Perform all duties of a green coffee bean loader (inventory cycle counts, loading green, unloading trucks, performing quality checks, organization of green storage).
* Perform all duties of a grinder assistant (prepare and inspect super sacks for use, move super sacks to correct storage location, perform quality checks on ground coffee).
* Operate a forklift and other material moving equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
* Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment with the assistance of a maintenance technician.
* Assist packaging personnel with the staging of roasted coffee for degas and use for finished packaging.
* Perform inventory cycle counts on roasted and green coffee.
* Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of mechanics
* 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
* 1-2 years of Material handler experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to use basic math skills.
