Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operations: Lead the Accounting Department, including receivables, payables, intercompany consolidation, and reporting.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to internal policies, accounting standards, and federal/state regulations.
- Financial Statements: Assist in preparing financial statements according to GAAP.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare various financial reports regularly and as requested.
- Cash Flow Management: Assist in managing cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Fixed Assets & Leases: Manage fixed assets and leases in compliance with ASC 842.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze data and present accurate, timely financial reports.
- Internal Controls: Maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare for and coordinate with auditors during annual audits.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Closing Processes: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Staff Management: Participate in hiring, supervising, and mentoring junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Experience: 5-7 years in accounting or financial management, with experience in public accounting.
