Summary
This role acts as the business partner and S&L Companies’ liaison for the Operators in their territory. The OM is the main point of contact between S&L and the franchisees and is responsible for supporting franchisees for anything related to their restaurant business. In partnership, they work to understand areas of opportunities in sales, traffic, operations, profitability, restaurant image, and growth to help identify improvement plans and recommendations to drive results. The OM will spend time with franchisees and their restaurant leaders in restaurants, developing deep knowledge of the franchisees’ business and action planning alongside them to increase the success of their businesses and a positive presence of the Culver’s brand.
Location
This position is a traveling position in Alabama, overseeing multiple Culver’s locations. All travel will be within 1-3 hours from Huntsville, AL. Company vehicle is provided. Some overnight stays will be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field and/or equivalent experience required.
- Knowledge of and experience with franchise businesses, operations, marketing, and development
- Understanding of the restaurant P&L, including levers to pull and how to drive restaurant profitability.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain franchisee relationships and influence behavior.
- Experience in project management
- Skilled in solving problems and making decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Complete all assigned restaurant support visits in a timely and accurate manner. Develop a deep understanding of the franchisees’ business and markets.
- Create and manage genuine relationships with franchisees.
- Support all Marketing campaigns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support any market tests to optimize sales for key products.
- Leads training for the field team and franchisees.
- Recruiting subject matter expert for best restaurant support.
- Serves as a point of contact for restaurants with merchandising support.
- Work with internal partners (operations, finance, marketing, technology, and development) to implement initiatives that drive growth.
- Contribute to the improvement of the guest experience in Culver’s restaurants, as measured by established metrics.
- Partner with franchisees on profitability.
- Support local marketing initiatives alongside Operators.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external parties.
- Ensure restaurants are following Culver’s’ Operation, training, and marketing brand standards.
