Job Snapshot:

The individual will perform field work associated with natural resource environmental assessments.

• Stream and wetland delineation
• Threatened and endangered species habitat assessment
• Clean Water Act permitting assistance
• Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
• Soil logging and classification
• Groundwater sampling
• Field data collection
• Data entry and report writing

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, botany, environmental science, geology, chemistry or related field
• At least six (6) months of internship or work-related field experience
• Completion of a wetland delineation field training course
• Experience with ArcGIS and GPS mapping
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability and willingness to accommodate occasional overnight and out-of-town assignments

Preferred Qualifications:

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training

This is a part-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
