Job Snapshot:
The individual will perform field work associated with natural resource environmental assessments.
- Stream and wetland delineation
- Threatened and endangered species habitat assessment
- Clean Water Act permitting assistance
- Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Soil logging and classification
- Groundwater sampling
- Field data collection
- Data entry and report writing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, botany, environmental science, geology, chemistry or related field
- At least six (6) months of internship or work-related field experience
- Completion of a wetland delineation field training course
- Experience with ArcGIS and GPS mapping
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to accommodate occasional overnight and out-of-town assignments
Preferred Qualifications:
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER training
