What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at S&S Employment Partners?
Our client seeks an Accounting Manager to join their team in Moonachie, New Jersey!
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $110,000 per year based on your experience. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm 100% onsite.
Some of your responsibilities as Accounting Manager include overseeing the accounting department as well as:
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all daily and monthly accounting functions
- Managing weekly check run processes
- Monitoring cash flow
- Maintaining accurate job cost reporting
- Payroll
- Preparing compliance and business reports
- Preparing financial statements
- Month end for a subsidiary
- Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconciling contract value changes to approved change orders and amendments
- Addressing issues with department managers
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA rules and regulations
- Other job duties as assigned
To qualify for the Accounting Manager position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum three (3) years of related experience as well as:
- Manufacturing & Inventory background is a MUST
- AP/AR environment experience
- Leadership experience
- General knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years’ experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Basic math skills
