SQL Applications Developer - Remote

An Application Developer will be responsible for developing product extensions, add-on features, reporting, web portal integration to new and existing web applications and integration with client/vendor applications. This position will participate in design, coding and testing of technical solutions.

Job Duties:

• Work collaboratively with a team of developers and business analysts
• Design, develop and test enhancements according to customer specifications
• Support and maintain existing codebase through refactoring and fixing bugs
• Design for backwards compatibility, future expansion and customer satisfaction
• Plan and manage a software development project.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the position.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

• Demonstrate an understanding of technologies and standard systems development lifecycle processes and apply our processes effectively on client engagements

Advanced knowledge

• SQL programming T-SQL , C#

Technical experience

• Python, MS-DOS, or Power Shell.
• SQL programming T-SQL
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. degree in Computer Engineering is a plus.
• Requirements Gathering is a plus.
• Project Management training or experience is a plus
• Automated Testing experience is a plus.
• Healthcare industry knowledge experience is a plus.
• Consulting or client facing experience is a plus.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with the customers.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal communications and making presentations (if necessary).
