What are the responsibilities and job description for the SQL Applications Developer - Remote position at S&S Healthcare?
An Application Developer will be responsible for developing product extensions, add-on features, reporting, web portal integration to new and existing web applications and integration with client/vendor applications. This position will participate in design, coding and testing of technical solutions.
Job Duties:
- Work collaboratively with a team of developers and business analysts
- Design, develop and test enhancements according to customer specifications
- Support and maintain existing codebase through refactoring and fixing bugs
- Design for backwards compatibility, future expansion and customer satisfaction
- Plan and manage a software development project.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the position.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- B.S. degree in Computer Engineering is a plus.
- Requirements Gathering is a plus.
- Project Management training or experience is a plus
- Automated Testing experience is a plus.
- Healthcare industry knowledge experience is a plus.
- Consulting or client facing experience is a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with the customers.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal communications and making presentations (if necessary).
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
