Job Posting for .Net Application Developer (Consultant) at S2S Technology Services
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) is looking for a seasoned .NET developer with professional experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, Angular JS, Cobol, DB2 and Web Services to develop web-based software solutions.
Note: No C2C. Only 1099 or W2
Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Duties:
The work will include research and development of the solution, preserving existing business requirements, unit testing, and documentation of results using established standards and practices of the DCFS.
Assist in necessary development efforts for UNITY Application, including, but not limited to, API's, interfaces, and new applications.
Assist with other IT projects as necessary to free up agency application developer staff for other priorities.
Contribute to the support and maintenance of existing DCFS applications.
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Test units of work related to the support and maintenance of UNITY Application or other IT projects.
Understanding the Functional and Technical Requirements for the project
Supporting preparations for modernization
Organizing and attending various DCFS meetings
Document questions and discoveries found during evaluation.
Create, modify and track all required development documentation for assigned tasks.
Create necessary technical design documents.
Create necessary use cases, test case, and/or testing outlines.
Provide a concise weekly status report of work completed and work remaining on assigned tasks
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
