KBFS is seeking a Rigger to support efforts at our Crestview, FL.
This is not a teleworking position.
Description:
KBFS Crestview supports U.S. Department of Defense in various training venues. Through our air advisor operations training, we have a requirement for C208 Rigger support. This position reports directly to the contract Program Manager. Training is normally conducted from Monday-Friday. Weather cancellations may alter that schedule. Job requires presentation of a neat and well-groomed appearance, effective oral and written communications skills, and ability to demonstrate aircraft skills and expertise to meet all technical support requirements with professionalism.
Required Skills:
- The Rigger contractor should be an FAA-Certified Senior Rigger within 3 months of employment.
- Contractor shall possess knowledge of Basic aircraft Weight and Balance, Cargo Limitations, Loading/Offloading, Passenger Movement and special mission tasks including Air Drop.
- Contractor shall have basic Aerial Delivery Rigging experience (Simulated Air Training Bundles (SATB) and Low-Cost, Low-Altitude (LCLA) bundles).
- Direct experience with C-208 aircraft cargo loading/unloading is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Must possess a minimum of 5 years military experience.
