As a Foundry Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our foundry equipment and machinery. This may include identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues, as well as performing regular preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Following safety procedures and using protective equipment as required
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Performing other tasks as needed to support the production process
- Experience running preventative maintenance routine on mill and foundry equipment
- Read prints, diagrams, schematic, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
- Perform manual repairs when necessary
- Inspects, diagnoses and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades.
- Carries out repairs and improvements on 480V and below panels and protection systems.
- Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs
Foundry Maintenance Technician Skills:
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Problem-solving skills
