What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter - $21-$23 position at S3?
Currently Hiring Industrial Painters with at least 3 years of experience. Applicants should be experienced in coating applications on machinery and shop equipment. We have a full time role on day shift with benefits and 401k match.
Responsibilities of Industrial Painters:
- Working with airless paint guns and HVLP guns
- Mixing, thinning and spraying various coating systems
- Other job duties: prepping and taping parts before painting; cleaning and maintaining spray equipment.
- Automotive painting experience would be considered an asset.
- Show individual competency in the mixing and application of primers and top coating to obtain desired color and consistency
- Apply primers and polyurethane coatings to all component parts as per production schedule
- Clean and maintain all painting equipment sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc
- Mix primers and polyurethanes coatings to obtain desired color and consistency
- Show individual competency with booth loading & unloading
- Perform scheduled booth maintenance
- Lift/move parts, components and chassis as necessary
- Safely store and label all materials
Requirements of Industrial Painters:
- High school or equivalent
- 3-5 years of verifiable experience
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- OSHA 10 is a plus but not a requirement
