What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter position at S3?
PA based Mechanical contractor is hiring Journeyman Industrial Pipefitters for compressor station projects in and around the Washington/Waynesburg area starting Monday July 15th. Duties include assisting with welding, bolt up, torque, underground piping install, installation of underground and above ground supports, threaded piping installation, pressure testing. etc. Qualified candidates will have 5 years pipefitting experience, SOME oil & gas/pipeline exp required. OSHA 10 or PEC/Safeland card required. All PPE including Fire Retardant Clothing and basic hand tools are also required. Job runs through March 2025 for most reliable hands.
Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter Qualifications
- 5 years industrial pipefitting exp
- SOME oil & gas exp
- Proficient with bolt-up/torque
- Very experienced with threaded pipe
- Well versed with hydro-test setup
- MUST have OSHA 10 or PEC/Safeland
- MUST have ALL PPE including FR clothing
- Must be willing to work inside and out
Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter Job Description

- Work with small bore, black carbon or galvanized pipe and threaded pipe
Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter Compensation/Benefits
- $28-$32/hr BOE (locals only)
- 5/10's M-F (possibly add 10 on Sat)
