Financial Analyst

Saab, Inc.'s Autonomous & Undersea Systems (AUS) division islooking for a Financial Analyst to join the growing team as part of the Finance organization. This position will report directly to theAUS Controller and provide wide ranging financial support to the AUS division and also support Surveillance programs. This position is based at Saab, Inc. headquarters in Syracuse, NY, but remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support the development and maintenance of program baselines and process updates as necessary

• Interface with internal and external program teams to track financial performance and provide insights into program variances

• Ensure proper recording of program financials including expenditures, revenues and cash flows and assist with the generation of Estimates at Completion (EAC)

• Initiate customer billings, track receivables and assist in past due receivable collections if needed

• Collaborate across functions to confirm contract projects are executing to budget and delivering on schedule

• Support accuracy of proposal costing and pricing efforts including cash flow analysis and currency hedging

• Advise program team members and senior management of financial health of programs

• Prepare, package and present external and internal financial reporting

• Work with Program Managers to ensure program forecasts are accurately reflected in business P&L and cash flow forecasts for the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

• Provide inputs on process improvement efforts

Compensation Range: $61,600-$75,500

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

• 2 years of relevant experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including but not limited to pivot tables, formulas and graphing

• Proficient with US GAAP, IFRS and other general accounting rules and principles

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
