Social Services Minister
Basic Requirements:
· Be a person of faith
· Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
· Work experience in social work or related field
· Experience working with client database system
· A valid driver’s license
· Work Location: Walls (Mississippi)
Brief Job Summary:
In a religious, compassionate environment, works directly with people living in poverty within our communities to address the immediate and long-term needs of individuals and families through direct aid, counseling, education and advocacy; participates in community outreach activities to assess needs and problem-solve; represents Sacred Heart Southern Missions and our clients on community councils, committees and/or boards.
Work Environment:
Sacred Heart Southern Missions is a religious non-profit organization. This position will work in our Walls offices, Monday through Friday, four hours a day. Occasional evening and/or weekend activities may be scheduled with advance notice; work hours adjusted accordingly. Some home visits to assess client’s situation may be required.
