Job Posting for Marketing & Communications - Photography Coordinator at Sacred Heart University
Position Summary
Responsible for the creation and curation of enrollment and university marketing materials namely, photography and some video.
Work collaboratively within University’s marketing and communication office to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support enrollment, retention and fundraising goals.
Provide overall support for the Marketing and Communications division by managing the creation and curation of all University photography. Focus on photography that advances the University’s missions and strategic goals.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Capture University special events, coordinate freelancers if needed.
Manage University photo archive and assets.
Work with academics, admissions, advancement and web content management to prioritize photo needs.
Oversees University wide brand consistency initiative as it pertains to photography.
Edit photography in a timely manner.
Assist video team with asset capture as needed.
Maintain gear & oversee inventory of equipment.
Perform special projects and other related duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Attributes
Strong photography portfolio
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or media studies disciplines required
Demonstrated expertise in photography and video production
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software
Knowledge of metadata and media archives
A positive and can-do attitude that supports the mission of Sacred Heart University
Unusual Working Conditions
Evening and weekend hours may be required. Occasional travel required.
