Your Mission
The Director of Global Accounting at SADA, an Insight Company, is a key leader in SADA’s Finance transformation to public-company standards. The Director of Global Accounting is accountable to SOX 404 adoption, Tax, Payroll and oversight of Local Statutory compliance at all subsidiaries.
The Director of Global Accounting reports to the SADA VP, Global Controller, and has direct reports in multiple subsidiaries. The Director will work closely with Business Systems and cross-functional leaders to ensure that SADA’s continued domestic and international growth is supported by scalable processes and strong internal controls to mitigate risk.
The ideal candidate uses their strong technical background as a means to make strategic recommendations to business decisions, tax positions, payroll policies and international processes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of Internal Controls over financial processes and reporting
- Lead a financial and data governance model with respect to key systems inclusive of Segregation of Duties and Change Management controls
- Prepare executive presentations with risk assessments, recommendations for risk mitigation, and opportunities for improvement
- Spearheads and leads cross-functional and international task forces when required
- Lead a global roadmap for system enhancements and implementations in Payroll and Tax
- Optimize global and subsidiary cash flows via tax planning strategies, intercompany and tax positions, and recommendations from the reviews of subsidiary level Financial Statements
- Review and approve local Statutory Financial Statements and manage local Audit and Tax relationships
- Lead payroll initiatives and provide oversight to payroll runs and payroll compliance activities
- Responsible for global tax filings, tax audits, tax memos, and correspondence with customers related to tax matters
- Execute key review controls in the Financial Reporting process, including the review of account reconciliations and SADA’s monthly Financial Statement package
- Prepare, review and approve Accounting policies of assigned accounts
- Develop team members across Finance to be meeting public company standards in documentation, review and sign off of Financial Statement assertions

Expectations
Training – Onboarding will be conducted remotely on a 90-day onboarding schedule.
Required Credentials:
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of Audit experience, preferably from a Big 4 Public Accounting Firm or Internal Audit
- 3 years of corporate tax-related experience
- 5 years of managerial experience with international direct reports
- Experience in tax research and preparing technical/financial analysis
- Interfacing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across an organization (e.g. staff, management, clients, audit agencies) to develop solutions and facilitate the integration of business processes across the organization
- Advising on tax, accounting and payroll issues, including analyzing information, identifying client/employee needs, developing action plans and preparing executive presentations
- Effective resource and project planning
- Demonstrated ability to establish an ethical tone from the top
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Taxation (MBT)
- Experience in a large national public accounting firm
- Experience in the SaaS and professional service industry or large corporate tax department (e.g., Fortune 500)
