Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. Saddleback Pet is an established busy kennel with a great reputation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess relevant experience in handling and caring for pets. However, if you are excited to learn we will happily train you!

Duties:

- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals under care
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing
- Handle animals with care and compassion
- Administer medications as directed

We are looking for a self-starter that can work independently. Attention to detail and reliability are a must as the dogs are depending on you! Weekends and holidays are required as we open 365 days a year. Customer service skills are a great bonus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
