As a Medical Assistant Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to enter the fulfilling field of Medical Assisting. 

As a Medical Assistant Trainee, we will train you to:

• Prepare treatment rooms according to protocols.
• Obtain medical histories, vital signs, and verify patient information to prepare them for physical examinations.
• Provide assistance during examinations and treatments.
• Ensure proper instruments and materials are ready for each procedure.
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) as required.
• Conduct in-house lab testing, maintain specimen storage, deliver on-site results to providers, and perform intermittent phlebotomy.
• Assist providers with minor diagnostic procedures, treatments, and patient education.
• Document medical care services in patient records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold operational security.
• Follow infection-control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees.
• Contribute to the team effort and accomplish related tasks as needed.
• Additionally, you will receive cross-training in Front Office duties, including patient greeting, obtaining authorizations, check-in/out, and communication of wait times.

Our Medical Assistant Trainees are expected to work Monday-Friday with a flexible day shift schedule and must be able and available to work until 7:30 pm on Thursdays on a rotating basis.

No weekends or late evenings! 

To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

No experience required.
