Assistant Childcare Director

Safari Kid is a small business in Burlington, MA. The ideal candidate for this role is an individual who possesses a strong enthusiasm for early childhood education, enjoys the role of an educator and is looking for advancement and growth in education administration.

Qualifications:

· Director 1 or 2 Certification Preferred

· Personable and professional approach with a willingness to learn.

· Exceptional problem-solving, follow-up, and organizational capabilities

· Proficiency in both independent and team-based work

· Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills Must be detail-oriented and accurate.

· Computer skills and ability to work with a variety of software like ProCare, CRM, event planning websites, Google forms, able to create flyers, newsletters in ProCare.

· Consistent maintenance of a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.

General Responsibilities:

· Establishing positive and productive relationships with families

· Daily operations, management of classroom ratios, ensuring curriculum is executed.

· Classroom Observations, Trainings and Orientation

· Provide regular support and guidance to teachers within the center.

· Communicate and partner with parents regarding children's progress and overall development.

· Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed.

· Assist in ensuring compliance with state regulations.

· Help foster a positive culture for families, children, and staff.
