Based on our tremendous growth we are adding to our Retail Team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Associate to be based at our Philadelphia, PA location.JOB SUMMARYProvide a high level of customer service and interact with customers. Assist customers in person, over the phone and via email. Handle all retail transactions including cash, credit card, check and on-account purchases. Have a positive attitude and demeanor and are expected to develop a working knowledge of the products that they sell. Provide prompt service to customers and to return phone calls and emails in a timely fashion.RESPONSIBILITIESAssist customers with all types of sales including, but not limited to uniforms, firearms, and ammunition in person, over the phone and via emailComplete required sales paperwork and registration documents for firearms salesAccountability in all retail transactions including cash, credit card, and on-account purchasesProvide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phoneResearch information on products or orders for customers and provide communication to assist them in making the best product choiceAssist with inventory placement, organization, and countingContinually develop comprehensive product knowledge on existing and new product linesAttend organizational or training meetingsReport problems or issues to the Store Manager or Assistant ManagerMerchandise and organize products on the sales floorMaintain a clean, safe and organized retail showroomOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY & OPERATIONAL AUTHORITYReports directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Store ManagerGiven business requirements, and in the absence of a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, may have operational control of store for short periods of timeQUALIFICATIONSProficient computer skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to adhere to Company policies and proceduresAbility to adhere to Company safety policies and proceduresMust be able to present a clean, professional imageMust be able to keep work environment clean, presentable, and safeResponsible for entering in daily time keeping requirementsAbility to pass criminal background checkMust have a record of stability with employment historyMust have an 'owners not renters' mentalityMinimum of one (1) year related experienceSales experience includes handling or selling of firearms or tactical/protective law enforcement or emergency gearHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required
