We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the SAFEbuilt Fleet Program and 700 plus leased and owned vehicles.
- Work directly with Holman Fleet Management team to maintain the fleet and cost saving practices.
- Manage one direct report (Fleet Admin)
- Develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the Fleet Department and Operations.
- Coordinate purchase of new fleet assets and the remarketing of assets.
- Provide direct support to all SAFEbuilt employees enrolled in the fleet program – this includes SAFEbuilt vehicles, rental vehicles, and vehicle allowance recipients.
- Maintain communication of Fleet policies and practices to the field – guide employees to correct resources and contacts to resolve requests.
- Ensure fleet database in Holman Insights is kept current by updating the fleet portal with driver changes and cost center updates.
- Maintain the vehicle inventory. This includes monitoring reports of available vehicles, fueling patterns and usage, vehicle downtime, vehicle assignments, etc.
- Monitor licensing, annual registration renewals, and toll programs for SAFEbuilt’ s fleet.
- Accident Management - Coordinate vehicle accidents with the driver & insurance company.
- Safety & MVR Monitoring – Maintain the program and work with insurance carrier to meet minimum requirements and provide a proactive approach to safety.
- Telematics – maintain the database and provide reporting to Operations.
- Maintain rental car program including reservations, billings, and driver support.
- Office start-up support: working with Operations to onboard new vehicles and employees to SAFEbuilt fleet programs.
- Resolve escalated issues related to Fleet quickly.
- Work with Insurance provider on required documentation for annual insurance renewal
- New Hire Onboarding
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- 4-year degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in fleet administration or related role.
- 2 years’ management or supervisory experience
- Experience with standard Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint – and ability to learn new software products.
- Good time management, organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform multi-task operations with frequent interruptions.
- Perform a variety of duties requiring use of independent judgment and technical knowledge.
- Demonstrate capacity to be self-motivated, handling multiple projects with little supervision.
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000
