Human Resources Manager

Our client, a top 100 in nation, multi-state mortgage company who has been around for 125 years, is looking for an HR Manager who will go beyond traditional HR boundaries. You will be at the forefront of applying your high business acumen and HR expertise to the success of the company. You will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive HR support and invaluable advice that will span recruitment, terminations, performance management, and employee relations. This pivotal role will also be the driving force behind the organization's success and foster positive connections between personnel and senior management through expert guidance on HR best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce and execute employee policies
• Provide top-notch guidance on daily employee relations and performance management to management
• Oversee payroll administration using ADP Workforce Now
• Manage Health Benefits administration
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State Labor Laws
• Support HR in implementing programs for an enhanced employee experience
• Proactively assist in recruitment efforts
• Cultivate relationships with employment agencies for optimal candidate selection
• Identify opportunities to refine policies and procedures
• Draft termination and severance letters
• Train and support HR team members
• Assist CFO with special projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
• 5 years of HR experience
• Proficient in HR policies, procedures, and hiring processes
• Familiarity with HR best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Customer-focused with a high level of professionalism and discretion
• Experience with ADP payroll/benefits/reports
• Proficient in Windows OS 10 and MS Office
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
