POSITION TITLE:
Marketing and Communications Coordinator
(THIS IS A HYBRID/REMOTE POSITION)


POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will develop, execute, monitor, and measure the company’s marketing and communications efforts under the direction of the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The individual should be an excellent writer and have experience in social media, trade show logistics, and press releases. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is energetic, organized, creative, and self-motivated to join our busy marketing team.
      
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Help develop and execute marketing & sales efforts for various programs and events, including trade shows.
  • Coordinate and executive e-mail campaigns; meeting deadlines, following timelines, and ensuring uniformity of content/messaging.
  • Determine & create social media content.
  • Coordinate and execute social media campaigns and ensure alignment with overall marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare all written content for press releases, brochures, newsletters, and case studies.
  • Translate complex data into simple graphs and texts.
  • Source promotional items and corporate apparel.
  • Create presentations to educate architects and distributors.
  • Manage trade show logistics including ordering convention services.
  • Coordinate collateral development with advertising agency partners.
  • Coordinate content updates for our website with our 3rd party vendor.
  • Update and create collateral for product launches and promotions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism preferred. 
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing or other related fields. 
  • Must be familiar with social media platforms. 
  • Highly driven and results oriented. 
  • Excellent writing skills with emphasis on writing for the web and social media. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and strong attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator) and WordPress
  • Minimal photography and website management skills 
  • Must be fluent in English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions. Duties may require sitting for long periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
