Job Description
The principle purpose of this position is to partner with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to participate in development and maintenance of systems and procedures required to implement a Quality System complaint to applicable standards. Applicable standards include but are not limited to: AS9100, ISO 9001, Marine Equipment Directive, ISO 14001, FDA ISO 13485: 2016, and ISO 18001. The candidate shall possess the skills to audit systems and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
1. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) compliant to AS9100 and company requirements.
2. Develop and maintain internal audit program compliant to AS9100 requirements.
3. Interface with shop floor personnel for the purpose of communicating technical, quality, and inspection information and promoting the technical image of Safran Aerosystems Oxygen Systems.
4. Prepares or directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
5. Support product development and production by reviewing and assuring proper quality requirements are met and that Quality Standards are implemented and followed per customer, company and regulatory (Government) requirements.
6. Demonstrated ability to make difficult determinations regarding the compliance of products and materials to applicable industry standards.
7. Ability to support Customer and Regulatory audits, as well as ongoing monitoring and verification that work is being performed in full support of compliance requirements
8. Strong organizational and communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently or as part of an integrated product team.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills.
11. 100% dedicated to following all safety procedures and precautions.
12. Strong written and verbal skills including thorough knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .Good analytical skills including the ability to comprehend and apply principles of statistical theory.
13. Strong print reading and inspection skills
14. Working level knowledge of MRP systems
15. Responsible for keeping the notified bodies and customers advised of quality system/product changes.
There is no relocation associated with this position. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Job Requirements
Education -
Required: B. S. Mechanical Engineering related technical discipline
Preferred: Degree in Aerospace, Quality Engineering or similar technical discipline
Experience –
Required: 5 years of Quality Engineering experience
Preferred: 5 years of Quality Management experience
Special Knowledge/Skills –
Required: AS9100D Strong knowledge and experience
Preferred: Knowledge of Mechanical and Pneumatic Mechanisms with demonstrated problem solving skills on various mechanical systems.
