Job Summary
Case Management
- Handle a caseload of insurance defense cases, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, slip and falls, trip and falls, auto and construction accidents, and other liability claims.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Manage all aspects of cases, from inception to resolution.
Legal Counsel
- Provide legal advice to insurance clients regarding their rights, responsibilities, and potential liabilities.
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Litigation and Negotiation
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Prepare witnesses and expert testimony for litigation.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and plaintiff's attorneys.
- Work toward cost-effective resolutions while protecting clients' interests.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar and in good standing.
- Strong litigation and trial experience is preferred.
