What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager I position at SAFY?
SAFY is seeking a full time Case Manager for our Dayton division in Ohio.
As a Case Manager you will be responsible for the case management functions of a caseload of foster youth and respective foster homes.

What You’ll Do
- Work independently and create your own schedule based on your caseload and availability of your assigned families. While generally working 1-2 weekends a year for family activities.
- Provide in-home, direct services to families and children in your caseload. Generally, caseloads consist of 12-15 clients that you'll see up to once per week.
- Create documentation for all services you provide in our Electronic Record System.
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule with the other team members. Generally, we're on call 1 week every 6 weeks.
- Develop and maintain consultative and liaison relationships with ODJFS and other members of the youth’s treatment team (biological parents, school, etc.)
- Travel within Montgomery and surrounding counties. Overall hours being worked outside of the office is estimated to be around 50%, which includes traveling to and from visits and time spend at the home conducting a home visit.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, child and family studies, or other approved related field of human services
- LSW, LPC or License Eligible preferred
- Two years of relevant experience with above listed degrees, experience in child welfare preferred, OR relevant experience in working with children in general.

- Targeted hiring range - $37,000 - $46,000
- Compensation is commensurate with transferrable experience, education and licensure of candidate, along with internal equity and budgeted amount for the role.
