As a PR Manager, you'll have ample resources to tell Sage’s story. Each day you’ll tap into a mix of resources — from corporate messaging and social responsibility pillars to product innovations and unique customer stories that enable you to craft PR cocktails to tell our story. Which projects do you have interest in taking on? You’ll have the flexibility to choose your passions and build out a program to drive success.

Responsibilities:

• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key media outlets. Proactively pitch stories and secure positive media coverage for the company in partnership with agency of record. Keep abreast of industry trends and ensure company positioning aligns with market expectations. • Content Management: Develop and distribute press releases to announce company news, product announcements, achievements, and update. Ensure press releases align with the overall corporate messaging strategy. • Executive Communication: Assist company executives in preparing for media interviews, speeches, and public appearances. Craft messaging that aligns with the company's values and goals. • Brand Messaging: Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across all communication channels. Ensure that external communications align with the company's mission and values. • Product : Plan and execute strategic communication campaigns for new product launches. Coordinate with product teams to create compelling narratives for technology products. • Thought Leadership: Position company executives as thought leaders in the technology industry. Develop and place articles, bylines, and commentary in relevant industry publications. • Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze PR campaign metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies. Provide regular reports on media coverage, sentiment analysis, and key performance indicators. Skills, know-how and experience: • 6 years of solid PR experience and/or equilvant experience with a communication degree. You’ve taken on projects with little direction and produced content that gets celebrated. • Your writing is something you’re proud of and you have examples of successful content samples to prove it. • You tell click-worthy stories and feel that (if given the great content) you could make software sound appealing. • You’ve been actively involved in PR strategy and enjoy it. • You understand what appeals to media and know how to land a story and have passion for being cutting edge in creativity for getting placements. • You’ve worked with or for a PR agency and have strong grasp of organizational tactics to successfully manage an agency. • Proficiency in AP Style, Microsoft 365, and other platforms.
