Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (The Center-NE) is a regional office housed within Saginaw Valley State University. We are a regional service provider for the national Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program serving the following counties: Arenac, Bay, Genesee, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Isabella, Lapeer, Midland, Roscommon, Saginaw, Sanilac, St. Clair and Tuscola counties. Our mission is to assist manufacturers in growth, process improvement, workforce and talent management development training and consulting programs. Much of our work involves small to mid-sized manufacturing clients. This Business Solutions Manager is responsible for building relationships and generating sales in the following counties: Arenac, Bay, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, Roscommon, and Saginaw
JOB SUMMARY:
The Center Northeast is seeking a Business Solutions Manager to generate opportunities with new and existing clients for The Center’s services. The Business Solutions Manager is expected to act as a business advisor during the sales and consulting process to develop and maintain client relationships. The transactions generated by this individual result in client engagements ranging from services related to business growth and productivity improvement to organizational (culture) change. A thorough knowledge of the manufacturing sector will help the candidate sell The Center’s consulting services.

Duties are generally performed inside but include outside seasonal activities. Some weeknights and weekends, including intermittent travel, will be required.
