What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at SAI Gulf?
Provide support for work performed in the laboratory analyzing coal and petroleum coke.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform all laboratory analytical testing.
- Monitor inventory for all supplies necessary to maintain the laboratory functions.
- Perform maintenance on laboratory equipment including keeping maintenance logs updated.
- Maintain daily analytical data in computer database.
- Making recommendations to the supervisor to improve job efficiency and overall effectiveness.
- Any other duties manager seems fit.
Must have high school diploma or higher.
Must be able to pass drug screen and motor vehicle check.
Helpful to have knowledge with ASTM procedures.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
