We are adding an Accounting Supervisor position to assist our Director of Finance in running our accounting department. This diverse, hands-on position is on-site in our Florham Park office.
The successful candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in a variety of accounting functions, including financial reporting, tax schedule preparation, account analysis, bookkeeping, billing, collections, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, preferably with a law firm or other professional services firm.
Other qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other applicable fields
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing financial data and providing information that assists in decision making and strategic planning
- Computer savvy, including proficiency in Excel and experience with time entry / billing systems; experience with SurePoint or a similar system is a significant plus
- Supervisory experience to help oversee two accounting staff
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills; able to effectively multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- High levels of integrity, confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
- Willingness to learn new software, applications and processes
