Description
SAIC anticipates a requirement for a Program Analyst position in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC), Fleet Installation Office (FIO). The position will provide program and project planning and coordination; track deliverables; analyze cost, schedule, and performance data; develop program schedules and Gantt charts; perform critical path analyses; and perform other related activities in support of the Fleet Readiness Director (FRD) Fleet Installation Office (FIO). Additional responsibilities include (not limited to) coordinating technical data extraction and analysis, by detailing the status of current and forthcoming production projects; technical data extraction refers to retrieving data from the Modernization Tracker (MODTracker); producing presentations, spreadsheets and reports summarizing results, status, and forecasts.
This position is contingent on award end of 2021 with an anticipated start date in April 2022 and will be located in Everett, WA.
Performs a combination of project Control and Division Administration duties and will generally charge direct to projects. May be responsible for such tasks as maintaining charge numbers, downloading project costs and commitments, tracking and reporting project status, preparing estimates at completion for small contracts, providing input to sales recognition and sales analysis reports, and performing time and materials rate analyses.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree is a plus
2 years or greater experience in the following areas:
- US Navy Command, C4I systems architecture, installation, integration, and testing.
- Fleet Modernization process stakeholders and organizational relationships.
- Reviewing Ship Installation Drawings (SID’s).
- Proficient use of MS Office Products and other software such as Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, CAD programs.
- Reviewing and developing, technical correspondence, reports, documents, drawings, and/or analyses.
- Supporting project management teams.
- Independently understanding and effectively communicating technical aspects of tasks.
- Exercising critical thinking and independent judgment dealing with urgency factors, changing priorities, and constraints in successful project execution.
